Half Day: Culinary Experience, Market and Ceviche Classes
We will begin the experience at 09:30 AM with the pick-up of passengers directly at their hotels located in the districts of Miraflores, San Isidro or Barranco.
Our first stop will be at the "Choco Museo" in Miraflores, an interactive space where we will learn about the history of Peruvian cocoa, its extraction process and taste its derivatives.
Later, we will move to the picturesque San Isidro Market. Here we will walk among the local stalls to learn more about Peru's agricultural biodiversity, identifying and tasting a wide variety of exotic seasonal vegetables and fruits (such as tumbo, aguaymanto, and lucuma).
Around noon, we will head to the historic district of Pueblo Libre to enter a renowned traditional restaurant. Here we will participate in an interactive demonstration class: first, we will learn to prepare (and taste) the famous Pisco Sour cocktail; Then, we will witness the step-by-step preparation of authentic fish ceviche with its typical ingredients.
Finally, at 1:00 PM we will enjoy a complete lunch consisting of 3 courses: ceviche previously prepared as an appetizer, a main dish of your choice, and a local dessert. Once the gastronomic experience is over, we will return safely to your hotel.
