Inti Raymi 6-Day 5-Night Package | Cusco, Machu Picchu & Rainbow Mountain

Upon arrival at the Alejandro Velasco Astete airport in Cusco, our operational staff will be waiting for you with a sign with the agency's logo or your name. We will make the private transfer to your selected hotel so that you can settle in, rest and begin your acclimatization process to the height of the city.

We start at 06:00 a.m. heading to Chinchero to visit a community and appreciate an ancestral textile interpretation center. On the way we will arrive at Maras to observe the famous salt mines (more than 3,000 artisanal extraction wells). Next we will visit Moray, the Inca agricultural research center of circular terraces. Then, in Urubamba, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a local tourist restaurant. In the afternoon, we will explore the astronomical fortress of Ollantaytambo and, as a last point, the archaeological center of Pisac. We will return to Cusco, ending in Plaza Regocijo.

Every June 24, Cusco celebrates the most important ceremony in the Andean world in honor of the Sun God (Inti). At 09:00 a.m. We witnessed the initiation of the festival in front of the Qorikancha Temple. At 11:00 a.m. We will go to the Plaza de Armas to listen to the Inca's Message. Finally, at 1:00 p.m., we will ascend to the Sacsayhuamán esplanade, where we will take our places in the reserved stands (Orange or Green Seat) to witness the central ceremony and the sacred rites, accompanied by a box lunch provided by the agency.

Very early we will transfer from the hotel to the train station in Ollantaytambo. We will board the tourist train through the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes. We will go up by ecological bus to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. We will go on an excursion with our official guide for 2 hours, visiting the qolqas, the platform system, ceremonial enclosures, the water canal and the plazas. They will have additional free time to explore and take photographs. In the afternoon, we will go down by bus to Aguas Calientes and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will wait for you to return to the city of Cusco.

Start time: 04:00 AM | End time: 05:30 PM.
We will pick you up early and travel for 2 hours through the South Valley to the community of Cusipata, where we will have a buffet breakfast. We will continue to the trailhead in Phullawasipata. We will begin a 1 hour and 30 minute walk, observing herds of alpacas, vicuñas and the imposing views of the snow-capped Ausangate. Upon reaching the Mountain of 7 Colors (5,020 meters above sea level), you will have 30 minutes to explore, take photographs and immerse yourself in the landscape. We will descend along the same route for 1 hour to our transportation, we will return to Cusipata to enjoy a buffet lunch and, finally, we will begin the trip back to Cusco (arrival at approximately 5:00 p.m.).

After having a good breakfast at the hotel, and depending on the time of your departure flight, you will have free time to make the last purchases or explore nearby attractions such as the San Pedro Market or the San Blas neighborhood on your own. At the coordinated time, we will pick you up from your hotel to safely transfer you to the airport or land terminal in Cusco. End of our services.
