Cusco 6-Day 5-Night Package: Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain and 7 Lakes

Upon arrival in Cusco, we will receive you to transfer you to the hotel of your choice. In the assigned shift (morning 9:00 a.m. or afternoon 1:00 p.m.), we will start the City Tour. Accompanied by a professional guide, we will visit the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Sacsayhuamán fortress. We will conclude the day exploring the Inca ceremonial and road control centers: Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (end approx. 6:30 p.m.).

We start at 6:30 a.m. We will visit Chinchero (ancestral textile factory), the more than 3,000 pools of the Salineras de Maras and the Moray agricultural laboratory. We will enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba before touring the living fortress of Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon, we will transfer you to the station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, we will board the bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Our guide will accompany you through Circuit 2. We will ascend to the Guardian House for the classic photo and we will tour the Agricultural Terraces, the Plaza of the Temples and the Temple of the Three Windows. In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo/Poroy, with final transfer to your hotel in Cusco (arrival approx. 10:00 p.m.).

We start between 3:50 and 4:20 a.m. traveling to Cusipata for our buffet breakfast. We will head to Phullawasipata to begin a 1 to 1.5 hour climb to the top of Vinicunca. After enjoying the mountain, we will take a light 25-minute walk towards the Red Valley. We will descend for the buffet lunch and return to Cusco at approximately 6:00 p.m.

We will pick you up at 4:30 a.m. heading to the community of Pacchanta (4,310 meters above sea level) to have a comforting breakfast. We will begin a 6.5 km trekking circuit (approx. 5 hours) visiting turquoise and emerald lagoons such as Azulqocha, Otorongo and Q'omercocha, with spectacular views of the snow-capped Ausangate. We will return to Pacchanta to have lunch and optionally enjoy its hot springs, arriving in Cusco at 6:00 p.m.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll have free time to explore the San Pedro Central Market, the Sapantiana Aqueduct, or the 12 Angle Stone on your own. At the coordinated time, we will make the private transfer to the airport or land terminal for your return trip.
