Coffee Route, Zip Line & Cocalmayo Hot Springs | Full Day Santa Teresa

The Coffee Route is an agrotourism experience that allows travelers to enter the jungle eyebrow producing areas in Cusco. You learn step by step about the cultivation, harvesting and processing of the grain, culminating in the tasting of a specialty coffee produced by local farmers.

Specifically, this program is developed in the coffee farms of the Santa Teresa district, located in the province of La Convencion, one of the geographical areas with the greatest recognition for the quality of its high-altitude coffee.

Accompanied by an expert, you will observe the complete value chain: starting with the cultivation of the plant and the manual harvesting of the ripe fruits (cherries). Then the pulping process, fermentation, washing, sun drying, selection, roasting and finally cup extraction are explained.

Yes of course. The tasting (basic tasting) is the highlight of the activity. It allows visitors to identify on the palate the characteristics, acidity and unique flavor notes of the organic coffee produced on this specific farm.

No technical coffee experience is required to enjoy the tour. As for the Zip Line circuit, certified guides provide training from scratch and take care of all the technical operations, making it a safe activity for beginners.
