Super Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour and Train Connection
We will begin with the pick-up at your hotel in Cusco between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. We will visit Chinchero, where an Andean community will show us ancestral textile art. We will continue to Maras to observe its impressive salt mines and then to Moray, famous for its circular agricultural platforms.
At noon, we will enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley. In the afternoon, we will explore Ollantaytambo, the only living city of Inca origin. After the guided tour, we will transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station to board your car to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night (hotel at the expense of the passenger or organized by the agency according to the package).
Exploration of the Wonder of the World: Machu Picchu
After breakfast at your hotel, you will go to the station to board the CONSETTUR bus that will take you to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu (30 min ascent). Our guide will meet you to begin the tour of Circuit 2 (approx. 2 hours).
We will begin by ascending to the Guardian House to obtain the classic panoramic view. We will visit the Upper Agricultural Terraces, the Plaza of the Temples, the Sacred Rock and the Temple of the Three Windows. At the end, you will descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon/evening, you will take the return train to Ollantaytambo or Poroy, where our transportation will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco, ending at 9:00 p.m. approximately.
