Cusco 5-Day 4-Night Package: Machu Picchu, Humantay and Rainbow Mountain

Upon arrival in Cusco, we will welcome you to transfer you to the hotel of your choice. In the corresponding shift (morning 9:00 a.m. or afternoon 1:00 p.m.), we will start the City Tour. With the company of a professional guide, we will visit the Qoricancha and the gigantic fortress of Sacsayhuamán. We will conclude the tour by exploring the ceremonial and water worship centers in Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

We start at 4:00 a.m. heading to Ollantaytambo to board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes. After ascending by bus, we will take a 2-hour guided tour of the most important sectors of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. In the afternoon, we will descend to take the return train, followed by the final transfer from the station to your hotel in Cusco (arrival approx. 10:00 p.m.).

We will pick you up between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. to travel to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast. We will continue towards Soraypampa to begin a 1.5 to 2 hour walk surrounded by snow-capped peaks until we reach the Humantay Lagoon. After free time for photographs, we will return to Mollepata for the buffet lunch, arriving in the city of Cusco around 6:30 p.m.

We start between 3:50 and 4:20 a.m. traveling to Cusipata for our buffet breakfast. We will head to Phullawasipata to undertake a 1 to 1.5 hour climb to the top of Vinicunca. After enjoying the Mountain of Colors, we will take an additional 25-minute walk towards the impressive Red Valley. We will descend for the buffet lunch and return to Cusco (ending in the city center).

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time to explore downtown Cusco, the San Pedro Market, Sapantiana, or the 12 Angle Stone on your own. At the coordinated time, we will make the private transfer to the airport or land terminal for your return trip.
