It starts in Lima with an excursion to the Ballestas Islands and the magical Huacachina oasis, featuring sandboarding on the Ica desert dunes.

    The adventure continues in Cusco with the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the legendary citadel of Machu Picchu, the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain, and the turquoise-watered Humantay Lake.     Both are moderate hikes at high altitude. Basic fitness and prior acclimatization in Cusco are recommended. Horse rental is optional on both routes.

    A scenic tourist bus journey from Cusco to Puno with stops at Inca archaeological sites. The trip takes approx. 10 hours and includes lunch.
