This 6-day itinerary in Cusco is ideal for those who want to experience the best of the history, culture, and nature of the ancient Inca Empire. The journey begins with a City Tour, visiting important archaeological sites such as Qorikancha, the imposing fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, and Tambomachay. The adventure continues by exploring the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas, before taking the train to Aguas Calientes to discover the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu.

The trip is complemented by excursions to the most stunning natural landscapes of the Peruvian Andes: the famous Vinicunca, known as Rainbow Mountain, and the spectacular Humantay Lake, surrounded by towering glaciers. Itinerary – Mountain Trekking 6 Days

Day 1
Arrival in Cusco + City Tour
Airport reception and private transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon (approx. 12:45 p.m.), we start the City Tour visiting Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.

Sacred Valley VIP + Transfer to Aguas Calientes
Pick-up at 06:30 a.m. We will explore Chinchero, Moray, Maras Salt Mines, and Ollantaytambo. Buffet lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon, board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).
⏱ Trains: 05:00 p.m. or 07:00 p.m.

Machu Picchu Full Day
A 2-hour guided tour of the Machu Picchu Inca citadel, visiting its main plazas, temples, and sectors. In the afternoon, return train to Ollantaytambo or Poroy and transfer to Cusco.

Rainbow Mountain
Pick-up at 04:30 a.m. Drive to Cusipata for breakfast. A demanding 1.5 to 2-hour hike to the Vinicunca viewpoint (16,522 ft). Buffet lunch and return to Cusco.

Humantay Lake
Pick-up at 04:30 a.m. Breakfast in Mollepata. A 1.5 to 2-hour steep hike to the spectacular Humantay Lake (13,780 ft). Descent, buffet lunch, and return to Cusco.

Airport Transfer
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, private transfer to the Cusco airport for your departure flight. End of services.
