Itinerary – Cusco, Puno & Uyuni 9 Days

Day 1

Arrival in Cusco & City Tour

Airport pickup and hotel transfer. Afternoon City Tour visiting Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.

Machu Picchu Excursion

Early transfer to Ollantaytambo and train to Aguas Calientes. Guided tour of the world wonder, Machu Picchu. Afternoon train back to Cusco.

Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)

Hike to the stunning Rainbow Mountain at over 5,000 meters altitude. Includes breakfast and a buffet lunch in Cusipata.

Route of the Sun (Cusco – Puno)

Tourist bus journey to Puno with guided stops at cultural and historical sites along the way. Buffet lunch included. Hotel transfer in Puno.

Lake Titicaca – Uros & Taquile

Navigate Lake Titicaca to visit the floating islands of the Uros people and the natural island of Taquile. Enjoy a traditional lunch.

Tiahuanaco – Arrival in La Paz

Cross the border into Bolivia. Guided visit to the Tiahuanaco archaeological complex with lunch. Arrival in La Paz and overnight bus to Uyuni.

Uyuni Salt Flats – Full Day Tour

Arrival and breakfast in Uyuni. Tour the Train Cemetery, Colchani, Flags Island, Dakar Monument, and the vast Uyuni Salt Flats.

Tomave Hot Springs

Visit the relaxing Tomave hot springs, surrounded by high Andean landscapes. Return to Uyuni and board the overnight bus back to La Paz.

Morning arrival at La Paz bus terminal and private transfer to the international airport for your departure flight. End of services.

Yes, a valid original passport is strictly mandatory as we will be crossing border controls between Peru and Bolivia.

Much of the trip takes place above 3,500 meters. We recommend resting on your first day in Cusco, staying hydrated, and avoiding heavy meals.

It is part of the itinerary, but you can hike at your own pace. You also have the option to rent a horse directly from the locals on-site.

The full-day comprehensive tour inside the salt flats lasts between 6 to 8 hours.

You can travel year-round, but the dry season (April to October) is highly recommended for sunny days and clear skies.
