About the Tour

Participate in an authentic Andean wedding, learn ancestral weaving, and taste a traditional Pachamanca.

Cusco, Chinchero, Alhaca Suri Community

Travel with us and live a unique and immersive experience with Experiential Tourism in Chinchero, specifically in the Alhaca Suri community. This half-day tour is designed to connect you deeply with the roots and ancient traditions of the Andes. You will be welcomed with warm songs by local hosts, who will share their ancestral customs with you, starting with the interactive preparation of the region’s most representative dish: The Pachamanca.

In addition to the gastronomy, you will witness and participate in the Kasarakuy (Andean Marriage), a spiritual ceremony full of mysticism where an Andean master makes an Offering to the Earth (Pachamama) to bless the union, including traditional clothing and the nuptial dance. Finally, the community will show you their impressive Andean weaving and shearing techniques, allowing you to appreciate and purchase beautiful pieces of art before saying goodbye to the rhythm of local music.
