This 7-day and 6-night package is the perfect combination to experience the most impressive contrasts of Peru. The adventure begins on the coast, exploring the marine biodiversity of the Ballestas Islands in Paracas, feeling the adrenaline in the dune buggies, and practicing sandboarding in the spectacular Huacachina oasis in Ica.

Next, the journey takes us to the heights of the Andes to the imperial capital, Cusco. Here we will dive into Inca history with a detailed City Tour and a VIP Sacred Valley tour (including Maras and Moray). The highlight will be the visit to the wonder of the world, Machu Picchu, ending the experience with the challenge of hiking the stunning Rainbow Mountain at over 16,500 feet above sea level.

Cusco

The imperial city of Cusco is located in southeastern Peru, in the Andes Mountains. It sits at over 3,300 meters (10,800 feet) above sea level and was the former capital of the Inca Empire. Today, it is one of the most important tourist destinations in South America.

Ica

Ica is located on the southern coast of Peru, about 4–5 hours from Lima, surrounded by desert landscapes and close to the Pacific Ocean.

Lima is located on the central coast of Peru, along the Pacific Ocean, and is the main international gateway to the country.

Step by step

Itinerary – Lima, Ica & Cusco 7 Days

Day 1

Arrival in Lima

Upon your arrival at the Lima airport, our staff will be waiting for you with a sign with your name to transfer you to your selected hotel to rest.

Day 2

Full Day Paracas + Ica

Pick-up at 4:30 a.m. Travel to Paracas for the speedboat tour to the Ballestas Islands (viewing the Candelabra and marine wildlife). We then head to Ica for wine and pisco tasting. In the afternoon, we visit the Huacachina Oasis for the dune buggy and sandboarding tour. Return to Lima at night.

Day 3

Flight to Cusco + City Tour

Transfer to Lima airport for your flight to Cusco. Reception and transfer to your hotel in Cusco (welcome coca tea). In the afternoon (12:45 p.m.), we start the City Tour visiting Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay.

Day 4

VIP Sacred Valley + Connection

Pick-up at 6:30 a.m. We will visit the Chinchero textile center, the Maras Salt Mines, the Moray agricultural research center, and enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. We continue to the Ollantaytambo archaeological site before boarding the tourist train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.

Day 5

Machu Picchu Tour

Breakfast and bus ride up to the citadel. Guided tour of approx. 2 hours through Circuit 2 (the most complete), visiting the agricultural sector, the Temple of the Sun, and the Three Windows. Return by bus to Aguas Calientes, free time, and board the train back to Cusco in the afternoon.

Day 6

Rainbow Mountain

Pick-up at 4:00 a.m. Travel south to Cusipata for a buffet breakfast. We begin a 1 to 1.5-hour hike to the top of Rainbow Mountain. Time for photos and return to Cusipata for a buffet lunch. Arrive back in Cusco around 5:30 p.m.

Airport Transfer

Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time, we will pick you up to transfer you to the Cusco airport for your departure flight. End of our services.

The base price shown corresponds to the “Tours Only” option. We have a comprehensive rate that includes 2 to 4-star accommodations in Lima, Cusco, and Aguas Calientes. Ask your agent.

Flights are not included by default, but we offer the option to add the Lima-Cusco internal flight (with 10 kg baggage) for an additional approx. $170 USD.

Absolutely! We have options like the Vistadome or Vistadome Observatory train. You just need to request a quote.

It is a challenge due to the extreme altitude (over 5,000 meters), but by taking place on day 6, your body will be well-acclimatized. The hike takes about 1 to 1.5 hours at a moderate pace.

For the train ride to Machu Picchu, only one small backpack or light bag per person is allowed. Pack only the essentials and good trekking shoes.
