This 5-day tour from Cusco is crafted for travelers who want the best of Inca history and Peru’s most spectacular natural scenery. It begins with a City Tour of the ancient Inca capital, covering iconic landmarks like Qorikancha, the mighty fortress of Sacsayhuaman, and the archaeological sites of Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay — a perfect introduction to the Andean world.

From there, the adventure takes you to the legendary Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Day 1
Arrival in Cusco + City Tour
Private airport transfer to your hotel. Free morning to rest and acclimatize. Afternoon City Tour: Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.

Machu Picchu Full Day
Early departure to the train station. Train to Aguas Calientes and bus up to the citadel. 2-hour guided tour of the Main Plaza, Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, and Temple of the Three Windows. Free time for photos. Return by train in the afternoon.
⏱ Pick-up: 5:00 a.m. – Return to Cusco: evening

Humantay Lake
Very early departure to Mollepata for a buffet breakfast. Trek of 1.5–2 hours up to the breathtaking Humantay Lake, a turquoise jewel beneath the Humantay glacier. Horse rental option available. Buffet lunch in Mollepata.
⏱ Pick-up: 4:30 a.m. – Return: 5:30–6:00 p.m.

Rainbow Mountain
Transfer to Cusipata for buffet breakfast. Hike to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) at over 16,500 ft / 5,036 m. Trek of 1.5–2 hours to the main viewpoint. Horse rental available. Buffet lunch in Cusipata.
